Mark Henry Strongest Man On WWE

We got to see the true power of the world's strongest man Mark Henry on this Smackdown.

A video marked "earlier today" showed Mark Henry pulling one semi-truck 20 feet outside of the arena (much like they do in strong-man competitions). Wrestlers that were visible cheering Henry included both Prime Time Players and Damien Sandow. They showed that later on, he would attempt another world record. However, clarification for that wss never given to the crowd at this point.

The video went back to the outside showing Mark Henry again, but this time it appeared live because it was dark outside. There are two semi-trucks behind him and Mark Striker announced that Henry will try to set a world record by pulling not one, but two semi-trucks at the same time. They stated this has never been attempted before and is the equivalent of pulling 110,000 lbs. (55 tons). Henry initially had trouble, and it became apparent that he was frustrated about it. Of note, the Prime Time Players and Sandow were still outside cheering him on as he attempted the record.

Striker asked Henry if he would give up and Henry snapped back that Striker doesn't believe he can do it, nor the people in the arena, either. He attempted again and the trucks began to move. They made it to the 20-foot mark and he collapsed. Wrestlers and paramedics (who appeared to be plants) checked to make sure he's okay. He got up and seemed okay at that point. Lilian Garcia then announced to the live crowd to congratulate Mark Henry for setting a world record.

We can say that Mark Henry is the strongest man on WWE. On Extreme Rules its going to be Mark Henry vs Sheamus on a strap match. The rule is to tie both opponents with a strap and the one who touches all four corners simultaneously wins. Will Sheamus find a way to beat the world's strongest man in his own game, we have to wait patiently to find out.

Kofi Kingston Wins United States Championship on WWE Raw

Kofi Kingston knocked out Antonio Cesaro with a Trouble in Paradise to win the United States title in the best match on Monday's WWE Raw.

Kofi opened the match on the offensive.
He chopped Cesaro to the ground. He flew at the champion. He threw out his best moves early, trying to steal a win from the Swiss powerhouse.
After Cesaro caught him with a mid-air uppercut, the champion took control.
He ground down his opponent, scraping his boot against Kofi's face and using his power advantage to punish him. Cesaro later grew overconfident as he began to toy with Kofi, pushing him around dismissively.
Kofi soon landed an S.O.S. and Cesaro only managed to survive by grabbing the bottom rope.
The pace of the match quickened from that point and both Cesaro and Kofi worked to suck the audience into their battle. They traded near falls and escaped each other's moves in a series of slick counters. The flurry to end their match was the most exciting thing the letdown episode offered.
Cesaro became punch-drunk after some of Kofi's blows.
He finally succumbed to Kofi's second Trouble in Paradise of the night, losing the match and the title he has held since SummerSlam 2012.
Despite loosing the match, Cesaro vs Kofi's match can be counted as one of the best match of 2013 in Monday Night Raw. The only thing left to see is whether Cesaro will retain his Champion Belt like Wade Barrett did or loose his rematch.

The Shield Vs The Nexus

The Shield is a professional wrestling stable in WWE, consisting of Dean AmbroseSeth Rollins, and Roman Reigns. The group debuted in November 2012 at the Survivor Series pay-per-view in a match between Ryback and Cm Punk.

  • Objective of The Shield
Fight for what they perceive as injustice in WWE.
  • Finishing moves
Triple Powerbomb (Aided powerbomb, sometimes through a table)
Flying Antelope (Bow & Arrow Hold by Ambrose & Springboard knee smash by
           Rollins)
Aided spear, usually executed by Reigns
  • Nicknames
           The Shield of Justice
           The Hounds of Justice
  • Accomplishments
NXT Champion 1 time (Seth Rollins)
           Undefeated as a group (10-0)

The Nexus was a heel professional wrestling stable in the professional wrestling promotionWWE, that competed on its Raw brand. The group originally consisted of all eight rookies of NXT season one and shifted their roster several times throughout their existence.

  • Objective of The Nexus
To obtain WWE contracts for all its members
  • Finishing moves
Every superstar had their own finishing move as an individual. There was no any group
           finisher.
  • Accomplishments
WWE Tag Team Champions (3 Times) - John Cena and David Otunga, Heath
Slater and Justin  Gabriel, David Otunga and Michael McGillicutty
NXT winner (season one) - Wade Barrett
Slammy Award for Shocker of The Year (2010) - The Debut of The Nexus

Both The Shield and The Nexus were pretty impressive when they first made their debut in WWE and headlined many PPVs. Both the team performed very well as a group but The Nexus made much impact and they have had more accomplishments compared to The Shields. So the winner in my view is The Nexus.

Big Show and WWE Sued for Alleged Violent Incident

WWE star Big Show is being sued for and alleged real-life incident of violence which may have put the giant superstar, as well as his company of employment, in a very difficult position.

According to Bleacherreport, WWE producer Andrew Green is suing Big Show and the WWE for a situation that occurred on Jan. 27, as Big Show allegedly assaulted Green when asked to perform a backstage interview for the WWE's website.

The alleged incident occurred following Big Show’s World Heavyweight Championship Last Man Standing match against Alberto Del Rio at the Royal Rumble pay per view at the U.S. Airways Center in Phoenix.
Green was told by another producer to interview Big Show, but things reportedly went sour from there.
Green claims that Big Show refused to do the interview until Green told him that then-WWE creative head Eric Pankowski requested him to do so. According to Green's complaint, Big Show used profane language toward him and assaulted him physically.

WWE News: Jack Swagger's trial date for DUI set

WWE star Jack Swagger is scheduled for his first court date on June 25 for charges stemming from his arrest for DUI on February 19 after leaving a Smackdown taping in Mississippi according to http://www.sunherald.com/2013/04/10/4584321/wrestler-jack-swagger-set-for.html. The Sun Hearld story states that city prosecutor Kirk Clark "always recommends the maximum sentence of two days in jail for first-time offenders and completion of victim-impact classes."

He would have been suspended for 60 days by WWE immediately but he had just won Elimination Chamber match that Sunday to become the no.1 contender for the Heavyweight Championship match. WWE couldn't afford to suspend him then since WrestleMania season was on and they needed to make a good built up story between Del Rio and Jack Swagger.

This is not the first time warning for Jack Swagger, he was suspended before by WWE talent relation for violation of Welfare Policy and this is his second offence so far. If he is caught doing something like this again, WWE may not tolerate his actions anymore.

What to Look Out For This Week's SmackDown on April 12

After WrestleMania 29 on Sunday showcased some legendary matches,Monday Night Raw provided us with more shocking twists and even the Dolph Ziggler cash-in that we've all been waiting for.
Luckily for those who can't wait to see where some of the suddenly compelling storylines are headed next, we bring you match up for this week's SmackDown.
There will be a match between Dolph Ziggler and Chris Jericho as the main event for the championship.
Another match will be between Team Hell No and Prime Time Players.
Wade Barrett will face Santino Marella
Bella Twins and Tamina faces The Funkadactyls and Kaitlyn
Sheamus and Randy Orton Vs The Big Show
Kofi Kingston vs Antonio Cesaro.
Triple H will also come down to the ring to make a speech about his match at WrestleMania but  gets interrupted by the 3 Man Band (3MB) and out of nowhere The Shields tries to attack Triple H but Team Hell No comes to the rescue. We may get a chance to see a Hug it Out by Triple H.

TRIPLE H - I Suffered 2nd Degree Burns ... at Wrestlemania XXIX

Triple H suffered 2nd degree burn last weekend at Wrestlemania. The burn was caused by dry ice. He suffered nasty burns to his torso and arm after he walked through a special effects machine that was blasting dry ice to create a smoky effect as HHH made his grand entrance.

The dry ice stuck to HHH's body and burned him up, but during the event, Triple H ignored the pain and shrugged it off like it was no big deal.

We recommend Triple H to use a smoke machine to generate smoky effect instead of dry ice machine next time he decides to make a grand entrance.
